We know that not many of the new DirecTV HD TiVo DVRs are out there yet, but we’re already getting upgrade requests. So it’s official! We’ve got upgrade options. We can get up to 2 TB in your unit, for up to 300 hours of HD.

For now, though, we’re taking pre-orders in four configurations, so you can get in line for your DIRECTV THR22 HD TiVo and we’ll ship as soon as we can.
It’s finally out, and while the waiting isn’t quite over yet, we’re doing our best to get these in stock faster than anyone, and then to ship right away.

We’re still in the testing procedures here, but we expect to have upgrades for these units in the new year.

We’ve got upgrade kits for the TiVo DVRs sold there – the TCD663160 and TCD663320 units. Both use the same upgrade kits. We offer a few sizes maxing out at 2 TB for 400 HD hours of Freeview.
