We have a TiVo Premiere in the garage that we largely just use when exercising. In our house, which is old, our garage is detached. So I didn’t want to run cable and/or DIRECTV wires out there, and I didn’t really want to mount another external antenna on the garage (I have a Winegard SS-2000 on the house). But we did want programming out there.
So I decided to try an indoor antenna to see what I would get. I had been reading good things about the Mohu Leaf, and I bought one on Amazon.
The Leaf is a thin rectangular antenna that looks basically like a laminated piece of paper. One side is black and one is white. The point of that is that you can tack it up on your wall, you can get the color to be as close as possible to the surroundings.
In any event, I put the Leaf up about two months ago. Since then, I’ve been in great shape! My programs record perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t bother trying to mount something on the roof. Highly recommended!
