Amazon announced their Prime streaming option, which has been rumored about for a while. Basically, if you have a $79 Amazon Prime membership, you can now stream some video content for free, along the lines of Netflix streaming.
Amazon Video On Demand (formerly Amazon Unbox) has been working on TiVos for years. And Netflix streaming works on TiVos. But Amazon Prime Streaming? No such luck.
See the starred note here:
It says “Prime instant videos are not currently available on TiVo devices.”
Sad to hear it – we’re hoping that the word “currently” was placed there very carefully.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see this as another Premiere-only feature in the coming weeks.
Yup – as far as I know, the streaming requires flash, and the Premiere has it.
