With all those cobwebs(?) I’m assuming this was haunted? 😉
My Tivo was hesitating and pixalating freezing and resetting so I opened it up and found lots of dust, but no spiderwebs. I cleaned it out with a vacuum and put it back together. It ran fine after that, but still is a bit flaky. I suspect the hard drive is nearing the end of it’s life.
We have a golden retriever whose hair gets everywhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if our units didn’t look a lot like that. 😉
Hmm, maybe we should open them up and vacuum the dust and fur out?
I do a spring cleaning of the inside of my TiVo’s for this reason!
