At WeaKnees, we’re really enamored of the new SWM8 multiswitches from DirecTV. They make installation so much easier – largely using just existing cable TV lines to send even multiple DirecTV streams around a house. Frankly, wiring this way is a whole different world, and much, much faster.
But as with any new technology, this brings up a whole host of issues, problems, questions, and troubleshooting info. So we’ve added a new forum on our forum site just for this one product. We’ve had a lot of experience with these SWMs and we’re eager to help spread the word. And, so far, most DirecTV installers haven’t been trained on this technology.
